1. Desk workers and phone users: neck stiffness and back pain
Long hours at a screen, sitting still, and looking down — the head drifts forward, the upper trapezius stays tight, and load concentrates on the lumbar spine. Our usual sequence:
- Fascia blade and electromagnetic wave therapy — release adhesions, improve circulation
- Acupuncture and cupping — address deeper muscular tension
- TCM bone setting — correct joint restriction, restore range of motion
- Clinical Pilates — rebuild core and scapular stability so results do not fade in two weeks
2. Postpartum mothers: recovery and pelvic floor
Diastasis recti, pelvic floor weakness, and back ache are not solved by losing weight. We assess first, then use herbal medicine to restore qi and blood, combined with Clinical Pilates to rebuild deep core and pelvic support before adding load. Usually from 6 weeks after natural birth, 8–12 weeks after C-section, following assessment.
3. Children and teenagers: rounded shoulders, scoliosis, posture
Heavy schoolbags and hours on tablets are the most common source of postural problems in Hong Kong children. Using TCM bone setting to address joint restriction and muscular tension, combined with postural training, we work on rounded shoulders, adolescent scoliosis, and uneven shoulders.
4. Women's constitutional care: period pain, cold hands and feet
These should not be managed one episode at a time. Our TCM practitioner prescribes individualised herbal medicine, with moxibustion and acupuncture to improve circulation — working on the root pattern, not the surface.
What we have
